Limestone
Colors are typically gray, tan, or buff. A distinguishing characteristic of many limestones is the presence of shell and/or fossil impressions. (Sensitive to acidic solutions especially those with a polished, albeit, limestone will not take a high polish it is still sensitive to acid solutions.)
